Whether you want action packed activity, or just to relax and unwind, Achray House Hotel, Restaurant and Lodges is ideal for a break away from the stresses and strains of modern life. With a choice between comfortable bedrooms in the hotel, or well appointed self catering lodges, you can choose accommodation to suit your mood.
Set in the tranquil village of St Fillans - in the heart of rural Perthshire and close to the geographic centre of Scotland – this small country house hotel has spectacular views over Loch Earn to the hills beyond. Within the boundaries of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, the hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the Trossachs and the Southern Highlands of Scotland, yet is only one hour's drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Walkers can choose from a host of low level walks, or over 50 Munro’s within an hour’s drive. There are also 35 golf courses within the same distance. Loch Earn and nearby rivers provide a wide range of water sports, and cyclists can choose from gentle rides to extreme mountain biking in the area. Fishing and field sports are also well catered for on the local lochs and estates.
Dinner at Achray House is one of the highlights of the day. Enjoy fine food using the best local seasonal ingredients whilst you look out over the loch, followed perhaps by a glass of malt whisky from our extensive collection as you relax in front of the log fire.
Your hosts, Alan and Jane Gibson and their team offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere, comfortable rooms with all facilities and excellent food and wine.
