Achray House has eight bedrooms. Seven of the rooms are south facing towards Loch Earn and the mountains beyond, and all are en suite with a bath with a shower, or a monsoon shower.
All rooms have central heating, tea and coffee making facilities, a flat screen colour television, radio with alarm, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The hotel and lodges have free WIFI access for all guests. (There is limited mobile telephone reception in the hotel and lodges, and some mobile networks are inaccessible.)
The bedrooms are arranged over three floors, with the hotel entrance and all public areas on the middle floor. The Neish Lounge, Conservatory Restaurant and Breakfast Room on the middle floor all have fine views over Loch Earn and the mountains beyond.
There are three bedrooms on the upper floor, in the Victorian wing of the building. These rooms have superb views over Loch Earn and the mountains on its south shore. The Dundurn Suite features a super king size sleigh bed and a luxury bathroom with a stand alone bath, walk in shower and under floor heating. There is a small separate seating area overlooking the loch, and the luxuries you would expect in a suite, such as bathrobes, de luxe toiletries and a gourmet selection of teas and coffees. The Chieftain Room is a spacious room with a super king size bed whilst The Mackintosh Room is smaller, decorated in the style of the famous Scottish designer, with a king size bed. Both these rooms also feature bathrobes, luxury toiletries and a gourmet selection of teas and coffees.
The modern wing of the hotel houses five bedrooms on two floors, adjacent to the Conservatory Restaurant, and set back a little from the Victorian wing. The middle floor houses three bedrooms. These bedrooms, as well as all the public areas of the hotel are accessible from the entrance on the level, without any steps. Two of the rooms (8 & 9) look out over Loch Earn and the mountains beyond. These rooms are classed as Loch View rooms in our booking system. Each has a bath and shower over. The third room at this level (10, also known as The Coachman's Room) is a cosy room at the back of the hotel, and is the only room which does not have a view of the loch or mountains. This room is suitable for wheelchair access.
The lower floor in the modern wing of the hotel has two bedrooms (6 & 7). These rooms are classed as Mountain View rooms in our booking system. They are similar in layout to the Loch View rooms on the middle floor, and have a view of the mountains to the south of Loch Earn, but much more limited views of the Loch itself.
Rooms 6, 7, 8 and 9 are are double rooms with king size beds, and two (6 and 8) can also be made up as twin bedded rooms.
In addition to the eight bedrooms in the hotel, there are two self-catering lodges positioned to the rear of the hotel which are also available on a bed and breakfast or dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
Please note that we do not allow pets in the hotel, although well behaved pets are welcome in the lodges.
You can view our rates, special offers, or see more photographs of the rooms.
