Enjoy a 2AA Rosette culinary experience where the top priority is offering exceptional food, drinks, service and a memorable dining experience. A charming setting of the rolling hills reflecting off loch, a cosy open fire burning in the colder months with an electric navy and gold decor, we are very much a restaurant with a view!

Generally please allow 1.5 hours for a 2 or 3 course dinner. On busier nights please allow 2 hours to enjoy your meal, drinks and the lovely loch views. We make everything from scratch and want to provide a relaxed experience where guests don't rush in and out, instead enjoy the quality food and fantastic scenery.

Rooms available at DBB rates for restaurant guests.

General Manager Claire has recently completed the first step on her journey to become a qualified sommelier, passing level 2 of the WSET qualification in June with distinction. Claire put a huge amount of effort into researching and putting together the new wine list where her aim is to introduce guests to wines and areas they had never considered and to 'colour you intrigued' by the end of your dining experience with us. She is happy to recommend a nice bottle to complement the meal, or a nice glass for each course and also carefully selects the wine for the tasting menu pairings. Put your faith in Claire and you won't be disappointed.

Our wine list is quite eclectic with wines from unexpected places, London, Japan alongside some lovely classics. We champion wineries run by women, those with sustainability high on the agenda, and those with a nice story. We have also tried to weave our own personal stories through the choices.

Our 6 Course Tasting Menu showcases the skills of the kitchen team and is perfect for any celebration or just to treat yourselves to something a bit different. We deliver dishes incorporating classic French cookery with the finest seasonal ingredients, prepared with thought and skill. Let us surprise you with some interesting flavour combinations. £75 per person including a glass of fizz to start the experience.

We require 24 hours notice for those wishing the tasting menu. Unfortunately, we cannot cater to any allergies or dietary requirements with this option and there are no substitutes on courses as this compromises our zero-waste policy and detracts from the experience.

There is the option to add in a cheese course prior to dessert. This is chef's selection of delicious European cheeses from I.J. Mellis.

To complete the experience we also have a wine pairing available for £45 per person.

November Tasting Menu which will be paired with wines from Black Book Winery in London - try something a wee bit different!

Tasting Menu must be booked more than 24 hours in advance. Please call or email to book rather than use opentable.

We also have our A La Carte Menu which changes with the seasons. Please see sample menu.

Dietaries can be catered to with 48 hours notice for the a la carte menu. Please note that our cookery lends itself best to gluten free & pescatarian rather than vegetarian / vegan. Chef will create a starter and main for vegan guests and there is generally a vegetarian starter and main available, we cannot do anything beyond this as it compromises our zero-waste policy and is not at the heart of what we do. We suggest that guests looking for more vegan / vegetarian options consider places who in excel in this type of cookery.

Pets are welcome in the conservatory only.

Open Wednesday to Sunday to both residents and non residents for drinks from 4pm and 6 - 8:30pm for dinner.

Booking essential on Friday & Saturday and bank holiday weekends.
